Challenge

La Mexicana salsas are made fresh daily, in small batches using hand-picked ingredients that are grown just minutes from the kitchens. With this design, we wanted to capture consumers who yearn for authentic flavors from Mexico. Using classic Mexican-style letterforms within the brandmark, and a primary color palette to compliment the crude printing process I created a simple, naive, yet modern style for the brand. 

The launch of this design increased product sales by 60% and established the brand as the #1 Fresh Salsa in America!
